FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Beebe, Arkansas (06/22/16) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will invade Tracey Clay’s I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) this weekend, June 24-25, for a doubleheader of racing action. Jonesboro, Arkansas racer, Hunter Rasdon holds a 6-point advantage over two-time CCSDS Champion, Kyle Beard for the top spot in the series standings. Defending CCSDS Champion, Jack Sullivan sits third in the points, just 37-markers removed from the top spot. The Top-10 in the standings also includes Jon Mitchell, Austin Theiss, Chandler Petty, Jonathan Rowan, David Payne, Mason Oberkramer, and Brandon Wilson. Hockley, Texas racer, Austin Theiss sits atop the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year battle with Jonathan Rowan, Mason Oberkramer, and Brandon Wilson in pursuit. This weekend the CCSDS competitors thunder into the ¼-mile oval at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for two big shows. The series has already competed at the facility once in 2016 with Jack Sullivan claiming the victory. On Friday, June 24 a $1,500-to-win/ $300-to-start, 30-lap event will be contested. Preliminary action will be contested for the Scrapp Fox Memorial for IMCA Modifieds. Mod-Lites and Mini Stocks will also be in action. Adult grandstand admission is $10 with kids (6-12 years-of-age) $1 when accompanied by an adult. Pit passes are $30. On Saturday, June 25 a $2,000-to-win/ $400-to-start, 40-lap event is scheduled for the CCSDS competitors. The B-Mains and $2,000-to-win/ $200-to-start, Scrapp Fox Memorial finale for the IMCA Modified class will be held. Bumper to Bumper Super Stocks and Factory Stocks will also be on the card.
