COMP Cams Super Dirt Series at Riverside Postponed

Beebe, Arkansas (06/18/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil has seen their event scheduled for Thursday, June 18th at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) postponed by weather.

Due to rain that has already fallen from scattered storms this week, along with a threatening forecast for Thursday evening, series and track officials have agreed to postpone the event to save teams and fans travel inconveniences. A reschedule date is currently being sought and should be announced within the next few weeks.

The remainder of the weekend is still currently on as scheduled.

Next on tap will be a trip on Friday, June 19th to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start program. The CCSDS competitors made their debut at the facility in 2014, when Kyle Beard won a thriller. This weekend’s event marks the first of two appearances by the series at the oval in 2015. Vintage Coupes and Modifieds will also be on the evening’s card. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing action set for 7:30 p.m. For more information on the event, please visit www.CRRaceway.com .

The weekend draws to a close on Saturday, June 20th with an inaugural trip to North Mississippi Motor Park (Corinth, Mississippi). A $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program is scheduled.
