Tripleheader Weekend on Tap for COMP Cams Super Dirt Series

Beebe, Arkansas (06/15/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will continue their ultra-busy month of June with a tripleheader in Arkansas and Mississippi this weekend, June 18th-20th.

Last weekend the tour visited two venues for the first time with trips to Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) and East Texas Speedway (Petty, Texas). With Tony Jackson Jr. and Tyler Erb scoring the wins, there have now been six different winners in eight events with the tour in 2015.

Jack Sullivan continues to lead the series standings with Kyle Beard, Robert Baker, Clay Fisher, and Shannon Scott completing the current top five positions. Spots six through ten are occupied by B.J. Robinson, Chandler Petty, Tommy Surrett, Timothy Culp, and Casey Findley.

Gavin Landers leads the latest Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings with Casey Findley second.

The tripleheader weekend will open on Thursday, June 18th with the CCSDS lone appearance at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas). The $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start event will see 305 Winged Sprint Cars, and Street Stocks also in action. Friday, June 19th will take the series to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) for another $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start program. The CCSDS competitors made their debut at the facility in 2014, when Kyle Beard won a thriller. This weekend’s event marks the first of two appearances by the series at the oval in 2015. Vintage Coupes and Modifieds will also be on the evening’s card. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing action set for 7:30 p.m. For more information on the event, please visit www.CRRaceway.com .

The weekend draws to a close on Saturday, June 20th with an inaugural trip to North Mississippi Motor Park (Corinth, Mississippi). A $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program is scheduled.
