First Time Weekend Faces CCSDS Competitors

Beebe, Arkansas (06/09/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will make history this weekend, June 12th-13th, by sanctioning events at a pair of tracks for the first time.

The seventh and eighth rounds of the 2015 season will take the CCSDS competitors to Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) and East Texas Speedway (Petty, Texas).

On the heels of claiming his second win of the season during the 5th Annual Rockabilly weekend at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) last week, Jack Sullivan now resides at the top of the series standings. Two-time and defending series champion, Kyle Beard is currently second in the standings with Robert Baker, Clay Fisher, and Timothy Culp rounding out the top five in the points. Positions six through ten are occupied by Shannon Scott, Chandler Petty, BJ Robinson, Tommy Surrett, and Allen Murray.

The Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year battle is an ultra-tight competition with three drivers vying for the title. Hunter Rasdon and Gavin Landers are deadlocked for the top spot with Casey Findley just three points removed from first.

Friday, June 12th will find the CCSDS racers going head-to-head with the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) in a $3,000-to-win/$400-to-start affair at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma). IMCA Stock Cars, Grand National Stock Cars, and Pure Stocks will also be on the evening’s card at the 3/8 mile oval.
