COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Invades Diamond Park this Saturday

Beebe, Arkansas (05/29/13) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) will resume their 2013 campaign this Saturday, June 1st with a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas).

Thus far into the 2013 season Mother Nature has allowed three events to be contested for the CCSDS with three different competitors finding their way into victory lane. The tour has averaged an impressive 36 entries per event.

2012 Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year, Robert Baker from Bryant, Arkansas leads the points be a mere two markers over Clarksdale, Mississippi' competitor, Ross Camponovo and four points over Kyle Beard from Trumann, Arkansas. Timothy Culp and Ashley Newman are tied for fourth with Chandler Petty, Jon Kirby, Tommy Surrett, Clay Fisher, and Jack Sullivan rounding out the current top ten in the standings.

The top ten will be joined by a talented cast of expected competitors including Jon Mitchell, Brandon Smith, Keith Lawson, Keith Craft, Lynn Beach, Kenneth Jackson, and many more.

The Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings are being led by Ashley Newman over Drew Armstrong, Joseph Long, Lynn Beach, and Jake Davis.

This Saturday, June 1st a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program will be contested for the CCSDS competitors at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas) in what will be the first of two appearances at the facility in 2013. The program will include heat races, b-mains, and a 35 lap finale. In addition a full complement of local divisions will also be on the card including Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Southern Stocks, and Novice.
