FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Nashville, Arkansas (05/06/16) – The all-time winningest driver in the history of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil padded his stat on Friday night with a dominating win at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas). The Batesville, Arkansas driver rocketed from the New Vision Graphics Pole Position to claim the $2,000 victory, which was his 20th all-time with the series. Jackson, Tennessee’s Jonathan Rowan started on the front row alongside Wallace, but the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year candidate retired with mechanical difficulties on lap 5. The event, which was slowed by a single caution on lap 14 when Danny Zimmerman tangled with the lapped car of Joseph Long, found Wallace leading every circuit. Garrett Alberson, who started 7th, finished 2nd with Larry Campbell, Kyle Cummings, and Jack Sullivan completing the top five. Kyle Beard broke a rocker arm in his heat race and was forced to utilize a series provisional to start 19th in the 35-lap affair. He bounced back to advance twelve positions to a 7th-place finish to claim the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award. Jonathan Rowan was also the recipient of the Henryetta Ford Hard Luck Award for his mechanical issues early in the feature. Wendell Wallace won Black Diamond Race Cars Heat Race #1, while Jonathan Rowan took the win in Allen Manufacturing Heat Race #2. Danny Zimmerman won M&M Paint & Construction Heat Race #3.
