COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Announces New Sponsors

Beebe, Arkansas (04/03/13) – As the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour prepares to open its 2013 season in just over a week the series is proud to announce new sponsorships and marketing partners.

Larry Shaw Race Cars has been a series sponsor since the very beginning of the sanction, and once again for 2013 the legendary chassis builder will sponsor the nightly Hard Charger Award. However, the ante has been increased as the driver, who passes the most cars each night, will receive a $100 cash bonus courtesy of the company. Larry Shaw Race Cars manufacturers Open Wheel Modified and Late Model chassis in their Batesville, Arkansas facility, and accounted for countless feature wins and championships in 2012. New Vision Graphics became the official sponsor of the Pole Award in 2012, and for 2013 they have increased their involvement with the series as they will also sponsor a nightly $100 cash bonus for the driver, who earns the New Vision Graphics Pole Award. Recently relocated to Ash Flat, Arkansas New Vision Graphics is one of the nation's top companies in not only graphics, but also apparel and business needs. GRT Race Cars, based in Greenbrier, Arkansas, returns as the nightly sponsor of the first heat race. The company produces winner-proven Late Model and Open Wheel Modified chassis. NEA Super Gas, which represents Sunoco and Turbo Blue fuels, will sponsor the second heat race again. After coming on board late in the season as a series' sponsor Allen Manufacturing, which is located in Newport, Arkansas and specializes in high-quality, farm equipment, has increased their series involvement for 2013 and will sponsor the third heat race each night. The tour also welcomes Stacy Taylor from Taylor Electric on board as an associate sponsor for 2013.

CCSDS president and director, Chris Ellis, comments, "It's really overwhelming to see the way that all of our great sponsors have really stepped things up for 2013." He goes on to note, "this additional money from our marketing partners allows us to pass more money straight to our competitors to help them get up and down the road to our shows. It's really shaping up to be a big 2013 campaign for the series!"

The CCSDS competitors open the 2013 campaign on April 12th at Camden Motor Speedway (Camden, Tennessee). The $2,000-to-win event will mark not only the first-ever event at the clay oval but also the first-ever event for the CCSDS tour in Tennessee. The event will serve as part of a doubleheader, which will see the tour in action at Riverside International Speedway on Saturday, April 13th with another $2,000-to-win event.
