COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Sets Banquet; Announces Schedule Changes

Beebe, Arkansas (02/02/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will host their 2014 Night of Champions banquet on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at the Holiday Inn at the Airport (Little Rock, Arkansas).

The annual banquet will cap another great year of competition for the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil competitors. Trumann, Arkansas competitor, Kyle Beard, will be crowned as the series' champion for the second-straight year, while Shannon Scott is set to receive Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year honors. 

The balance of the top ten in the final series standings, which includes Tommy Surrett, Clay Fisher, Brandon Smith, Rick Hearnsberger, David Payne, Lynn Beach, Kody Mean, and Jack Sullivan will be honored. Sponsors and promoters will also be recognized for their great support.

Each year the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil Night of Champions is a great event, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Each driver being honored receives a complimentary ticket with promoters and sponsors each receiving a complimentary ticket as well. While tickets will also be sold at the door, please purchase tickets as soon as possible to allow for planning.

The social time begins at 6:00 pm with the dinner served at 6:30 pm and awards presentation beginning at 7:15 pm.

The tour is pleased to announce that additional dates have been added to the 2015 docket. The $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event originally slated for April 4th at Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) has been rescheduled for April 24th at the facility. Corinth Speedway (Corinth, Mississippi) has booked their first-ever series event for Saturday, May 8th as a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program is scheduled. The race will serve as part of a doubleheader weekend in the Magnolia state with the tour making their debut at Magnolia Motor Speedway on May 9th for a $2,500-to-win event. Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) joins the schedule with a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start program on Thursday, June 18th as part of a doubleheader with Crowley's Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas), who will host a $2,000-to-win affair on Friday evening. The events originally slated for June 19th at Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee) and July 24th at Northeast Arkansas Speedway have both been removed from the schedule.

The season opens on March 28th with a trip to Gene Boyter's Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for a $10,000-to-win event that will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).
