COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Sets 2013 Night of Champions Date Changed

Beebe, Arkansas (01/13/14) – Due to a booking conflict with the venue the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will now host their 2013 Night of Champions banquet on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 at the Holiday Inn at the Airport (Little Rock, Arkansas). The event was originally scheduled for February 8th, but the venue was already booked for another event.

The annual banquet will cap another great year of competition for the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil competitors. Trumann, Arkansas competitor, Kyle Beard, will be crowned as the series' champion for the first time in his career with his teammate, Ashley Newman, set to receive Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year honors.

The balance of the top ten in the final series standings, which includes Chandler Petty, Clay Fisher, Tommy Surrett, Lynn Beach, Brandon Smith, Jon Kirby, Joseph Long, and Jon Mitchell, will be honored. Sponsors and promoters will also be recognized for their great support.

Each year the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil Night of Champions is a great event, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Each driver being honored receives a complimentary ticket with promoters and sponsors each receiving two complimentary tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased for $25 per person by contacting Chris Ellis at 501-882-9794. Please purchase tickets as soon as possible to allow for planning.

The social time begins at 6:00 pm with the dinner served at 6:45 pm and awards presentation beginning at 7:30 pm.

The CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil warriors will embark on their 2014 season on April 5th and 6th as the tour co-sanctions a pair of events for the first time ever with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). On Friday, April 5th Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) will host a $10,000-to-win show, while Saturday April 6th will see the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil being a part of an event for the first time ever at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) as another $10,000-to-win slate is held.
