(Gastonia, North Carolina) – Ricky Weeks used his veteran knowledge to keep Ross Bailes at as he rolled to the $3,000 win in the NDRA Late Model portion of the  King of the Carolinas presented by Carolinas First Defense.

A caution with five laps to go gave Weeks a clean track and he used it  to his advantage to speed to the win. Bailes, Matt Long, Corey Gordon and Greg Barker rounded out the top five.

The Renegades of Dirt Open Wheel Modified Series race started off with NY’s Rich Michael Jr. and Kyle Strickler on the front row battling the first few laps between the two and pulling away from all competition.
