GASTONIA, NC  - Timbo Mangum ended a long winless streak at Carolina Speedway Friday night as the Lancaster, SC veteran captured his first Carolina Workwer NDRA Late Model win of 2013.

Josh Langley had his strongest Carolina Speedway show as he came home second. Perennial winner Ross Bailes took third with Gary Puckett and Daniel Tucker rounding out the top five.

In the Tilley Harley Davidson main event it was John Rhyne claiming the $500 victory. Jamie Major made a late race rally to finish second with Scott Freeman, Elliot Miller and Chris Stowe rounding out the top five in the 22 car field.

Patrick Lyon stayed strong as he picked up his second consecutive Q2U BBQ Pit Four Cylinder victory. Blake Pryor, Jerry Oliver, Jason Day and Shannon Barnhill completed the top five.

Casey Shane posted the Hornet win over; Brian Blanton, David Motes, Steven Self and Brian Green.
Steve Hinson came out on top of the wild Renegade Roundup All Star race. The win was worth $300. Jake McLain took the win in the Carolina RaceSaver Sprint car feature.

Racing action returns to Carolina Speedway this Friday night with a six division racing program featuring the Roush Yates Late Models. Gates open at 5:00 with racing at 8:00 PM. General admission is only $12 and children 11 and under are FREE.
