GASTONIA, NC – Carolina Speedway is proud to announce the official schedule for the 13th Annual Carolina Clash Skyler Trull Memorial presented by the CARS Trade Show. March 8-9, 2013.
The event held in the honor of Skyler Trull each March has become a fixture in the southeast over the last decade. Skylar’s father Larry is a crew member and cous...in of veteran racer Doug Sanders. Sanders’ car carries the colors of the event each year.

“The Skyler Trull race has turned into such a great show,” said Carolina Speedway’s Mark Gibbons. “It is so much more than a race; it’s a weekend of fun and events. Huge crowds turn out for the event and it’s definitely one we circle on the calendar every year.”

The Skyler Trull Memorial will be held March 8-9, 2013 at Carolina Speedway. Friday night March 8th the Q2U BBQ Pit Four Cylinders will battle for a $1,000 to win prize. The Tilley Harley Davidson Renegades will race for $500 to win and the Hornets will also have a $500 to win show. The Open Wheel Modifieds will also battle for a $500 to win main event. The NDRA Late Models will qualify and heat race on Friday night for their $3,000 win Heintz Performance Road Show race on Saturday night March 9th. The track will be open for any racers that want to practice as well.

Saturday night, March 9th will be a full program for the Carolina Clash Super Late Models with the main event being the $5,000 to win Skyler Trull Memorial. The Southern Shootout Modifieds will have their first touring series race of the year that will pay at least $1,000 to win. The NDRA Late Models will run their $3,000 to win 30 lap feature. Also on the card will be a $500 to win Domino’s Pizza Street Stocks main event.

Carolina Speedway has partnered with the Hampton Inn of Belmont to be the official host hotel of the 13th Annual Carolina Clash Skyler Trull Memorial held March 8-9, 2013.

Pit gates on Friday night March 8th at 3:00 PM. Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 with hot laps at 7:20. Racing will begin at 8:00 PM. General admission tickets are $10, pits are $25.
Saturday March 9th pit gates will once again open at 3:00 PM. Grandstands will open at 4:00 pm. Drivers meeting will be at 6:00 with racing at 7:00 PM. General admission will be $25 with pit admission $35.
Two day tickets can be purchased also. General admission two day ticket is $30 and a two day pit pass is $50.
