Caney Valley Speedway 2013 Race Schedule Set!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – February 5, 2013 - Coming off another successful season of dirt track racing, Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas has their 2013 schedule set that will include twenty-three nights of racing action set for Saturday nights with sprint cars, late models and topless late models making special appearances.

If it is successful, why change it? That is the thought of track owner/promoter Kerry Gorby as once again weekly racing divisions will be the following: DIRTcar sanctioned late models, b-mods, factory stocks and pure stocks.

The season kicks off on Saturday night, April 13th with the first point’s race for the New Year.
The new NOW600 micro series will make their debut on the speedway on Saturday night, April 20th. They will make a return trip on Saturday night, June 29th. 

The Tulsa, Oklahoma based Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) sprint car division will make the first of their three appearances at the quarter mile oval on Saturday night, May 25th. Other dates for the winged sprinters will be July 6th and August 31st.

The 4th annual James House Memorial for the late models will be held Saturday night, August 3rd while the 3rd annual “Topless Late Model Classic” is set for Saturday night, September 28th. This event is also scheduled to close out the 2013 race season at the speedway.

The DIRTcar late model weekly payout is as follows:
1) $700, 2) $500, 3) $400, 4) $350, 5) $300, 6) $275, 7) $250, 8) $225, 9) $200, 10) $175, 11) $150, 12) $145, 13) $140, 14) $ 135, 15) $130, 16-18) $125, 19-20) $125
If any driver qualifies and does not start the night’s feature finale or gets disqualified they will not get paid. Drivers who do not finish in the feature finale will get paid $125 while drivers not making the feature will earn $50.
