Chris Brown Sweeps David Pope Memorial at RPM Speedway

Spring, Texas (09/13/13) –Chris Brown and Brown Motorsports had a great outing on Saturday night as he stormed to the win in the 2nd Annual David Pope Memorial at RPM Speedway (Crandall, Texas) in his #21 Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance/Hughes Open Wheel Modified to earn over $4,500!

Forty-one entries registered for action in the event, and Chris started his night by blasting from the 7th starting spot in his heat race to claim the victory, which sent him to the pole dash. He raced to the $540 win in the pole dash before moving onto the $4,000-to-win to win feature, where he started on the pole with Cody Smith starting alongside. Chris snagged the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back on his way to leading every lap of the $4,000-to-win feature to claim his second win of the 2013 season! He was followed across the finish line by Cody Smith, Clyde Dunn Jr., Troy Taylor, and Dennie Gieber.

"The past two months have been nothing short of a nightmare for our team, so to get this win really means a lot," noted Brown.

Garrett Alberson Pockets Three Wins in Two Nights

Las Cruces, New Mexico (09/13/13) - Garrett Alberson's ever-growing 2013 win total changed again over the weekend as he won races in two different divisions to increase his victory tally to 19!

The weekend opened on Friday night at El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas), where Alberson returned to his roots with an outing in a Super Truck. Heat race action found him finishing 4th, but in the feature he raced to the win, which came over Kenny Alons, Donnie Newcomb, Sherman Barnett, and Nita Deetz. Saturday night found Garrett competing in a Championship Dirt Motorsports Weekly Racing Series Events in his #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt Super Late Model at Tularosa Speedway (Tularosa, New Mexico). Alberson enjoyed another great outing by screaming to the feature win, which came over Mercedes Abercrombie, Dave Deetz, Nita Deetz, and Jonathon Ortega.
