Batesville Motor Speedway officials have made the decision to cancel the races for Friday, May 3rd, due to the inclement weather.

"With the amount of rainfall that we have already received and the forecast for even more rain, we have no choice but to cancel the races for Friday, May 3rd," track owner and promoter Mooney Starr said.
"Unfortunately, this will be our third week to cancel. It is our hope that we will have better weather for our next race on May 10th, and for the 2nd Annual Bad Boy 98 Lucas Oil Late Model event coming up on May 17-18th," Starr added.

Passes will be good for the May 10th race.
