Victory goes to Cornell at RCR opener

Bryan Hulbert - MOBERLY, Mo. (August 31, 2013) Jonathan Cornell continued his dominance of the Speedway Motors Warrior Region, opening the weekend double header at Randolph County Raceway with his seventh triumph of the season.

Lining up sixth, the VKCC Motorsports No. 28 worked to the lead on Lap 12, going unchallenged from thee. Randy Martin, Josh Fisher, Russ Hall, and Jon Agan completed the top five after the Iowa driver led the first 11 circuits.

Randy Hibbs, Wyatt Burks, Miranda Arnold, Evan Martin, and Zach Davis made up the top ten.
The Speedway Motors Warrior Region returns to the Randolph County Raceway on Sunday, September 1 with several Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real driver expected to be in attendance for the $4,000 to win finale.

Ramaker's weekend perfect with Frontier Region

Bryan Hulbert - GREAT FALLS, Mont. (August 31, 2013) The ASCS Frontier Region returned to the Electric City Speedway where Joe Ramaker made it a perfect weekend, leading the night’s 25 lap A-Feature from start to finish.

Phil Dietz crossed second with Kelly Miller, Josh Ostermiller, and Casey Adams making the top five. Dennis MacEachern was sixth with David Hoiness coming from the B-Feature to finish seventh. Vernon Hill, Bill Boyce, and Trever Kirkland made up the top ten.

Matt Covington on top at Abilene

Bryan Hulbert - ABILENE, Texas (August 31, 2013) Matt Covington started out front, and ended out front with the Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region at the Abilene Speedway for his first Lone Star triumph of the season.

His fifth podium of the season, Covington led the distance in the night’s 25 lap affair. Patrick Stasa, Kolt Walker, Joshua Hodges, and Blake Hahn made up the top five with Jake Martens, Josh Baughman, Gary Floyd, Dale Wester and John James made up the top ten.

The Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region heads to the Lubbock Speedway in Lubbock, Texas on Sunday, September 1.
