Jack Dover Takes Midwest Regional Checkers at McCool Junction

MCCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (September 6, 2014) - The Speedway Motors Midwest Region stopped into the Junction Motor Speedway on Saturday night with Jack Dover picking up his third ASCS victory of the 2014 season and second with the Nebraska based region.

Taking off from fourth, Dover was chased across the line by Tony Bruce, Jr. with eighth starting J.D. Johnson taking the final podium step. Fighting out of the night's B-Feature, Danny Lasoski clawed from seventeenth to fourth with Don Droud, Jr. coming from sixteenth to complete the top five.

Tennessee's Brandon Hanks crossed sixth with Jon Freeman seventh. Billy Alley was eighth with C.J. Johnson ninth. Jeremy Campbell from nineteenth completed the top ten.

The Nebraska Cup awaits teams on Sunday, September 7 at the Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb.

Gulf South Glory Goes to Kulhanek at Leesville 171 Speedway

LEESVILLE, La. (September 6, 2014) - Weather finally held off as a trip to Louisiana brought Ray Allen Kulhanek his second Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Regional victory of the season, leading start-to-finish at the Leesville 171 Speedway.

Channin Tankersley crossed second behind the wheel of the Bruce Griffith, Jr. owned No. 17t after having to jump from the Pearson Motorsports No. 11 due to a crash during Hot Laps; keeping his championship hopes alive by 101 over Kulhanek. Scottie McDonald grabbed third with Tyson Hall and Jimmy Brooks completing the top five.

Chris Sweeny finished sixth with Klint Angelette from nineteenth to grab seventh with Caleb Martin following from eighteenth to eighth. Johnny Brown crossed ninth with Mike Walling tenth.

A single night of racing remains for the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region at the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas on September 27.

Late Race Restart Yield Dividends for Ramaker

BELGRADE, Mont. (September 6, 2014) - Joe Ramaker picked up his sixth Frontier Regional victory of the year with a late race pass on Jeremy McCune following a restart with two laps to run at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont.

Coming from fifth, Ramaker was ultimately chased to the line by Phil Dietz as McCune slipped to finish third. Joe Perry was fourth despite having to weld part of the chassis back in place following his Heat Race. The top five rounded out with Jerry Brey.

Paxton Lambrecht was sixth with Kelly Miller seventh. David Hoiness from fifteenth crossed eighth followed by Bob Shiplet and Roger Cummings to make up the top ten.
