Blake Hahn tops ASCS Regional showdown in Waco

Bryan Hulbert - WACO, Texas (August 23, 2013) For the second time in 2013, Blake Hahn parked the MDS Boring and Drilling No. 17 in victory lane, taking the win at the Heat O’ Texas Speedway in the first leg of the weekend regional doubleheader with the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South and Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Regions.

Starting fifth, Hahn worked to the race lead on the eighteenth round, dropping Channin Tankersley to the runner up spot where he would remain. Aaron Reutzel crossed third and in doing so, has taken over as the point’s leader for the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region. Jake Martens, who led from Lap 3 to Lap 15 slipped to fourth with Kevin Ramey completing the top five.

Justin Melton, Travis Elliot, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Michael Lang, and Michael McNeil completed the top ten.
The regional showdown heads to the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday, August 24.

Warrior Region glory goes to Jack Dover

Bryan Hulbert - CAMERON, Mo. (August 23, 2013) The Speedway Motors Warrior Region took to the highbanks of the U.S. 36 Raceway Friday night with Jack Dover leading the distance in the night’s 25 lap feature event.

Drawing the front row, Dover went uncontested to the checkered flag to bring his winner’s share to $2,500, having already taking $200 for his Heat Race win, plus an additional $500 from Klein Motor and RV’s. Justyn Cox crossed second with Jonathan Cornell completing the podium. Miranda Arnold and Wyatt Burks made up the top five.

Cody Baker, Tyler Blank, Dustin Selvage, J.R. Topper, and Corey Nelson made up the top ten.

Hoiness outruns the rain for Frontier Region victory

Bryan Hulbert - BELGRADE, Mont. (August 23, 2013) Gallatin Speedway played host to the ASCS Frontier Region Friday night with David Hoiness scoring his fist regional victory of the season as the rains rolled in.

Joe Ramaker grabbed second with Brent Kronfuss, Phil Dietz, and Trever Kirkland making up the top five. The Frontier Region continues the weekend on Saturday, August 24 at the Billings Motorsports Park.
