Blake Hahn Triumphs With ASCS Red River at Creek County Speedway

SAPULPA, Okla. (May 20, 2016) Mother Nature tried her best, but the crew of the Creek County Speedway was able to get the show on the road Friday night, and it was Blake Hahn who came out on top at the quick quarter-mile with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products.
The win is Hahn's first with the American Sprint Car Series in 2016, and second overall in Red River competition.

Taking off from the pole, Hahn would get a second chance at the lead as Jason McDougal out ran the No. 52 off the first two turns. Caution for Matt Covington before the lap could be scored, it was Hahn who led the way.

Surviving several restarts throughout the A-Feature as several drivers took a tumble, with all able to walk away, Hahn was stalked throughout the race by Jason McDougal who posted his best career Red River finish.

Using a late race restart to his advantage, Brandon Hanks was able to climb to the final podium step after starting 12th. Sean McClelland crossed fourth with 14th starting, Fred Mattox, completing the top-five.

Casey Wills from 19th made it to sixth with Kyle Chady, Mickey Walker, Kade Morton, and Waylon Weaver rounding out the top-ten.
