ASCS Gulf South Set for 14th Season

TULSA, Okla. (March 6, 2015) Tracks in the Gulf South will lie dormant no more as the Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment prepares to come to life at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas on Friday, March 13 and Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas on Saturday, March 14.

Two of 18 nights on the 2015 season, the series last visit to Golden Triangle Raceway Park on June 20, 2014 was ruled over by Travis Rilat. Hosting the 2014 season finale, Battleground Speedway saw the season's champion, Channin Tankersley, topping the evening's feature event on September 27.
The 2014 season saw 14 winners, with no one earning more than two victories in 20 feature events. In all, 95 drivers took part in at least one night of racing in 2014.

Offering drivers $3,000 to win both nights, Friday, March 13 at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park is scheduled to begin at 7:45 P.M. (CT). ASCS Red River Nearing 2015 Season Opener

TULSA, Okla. (March 6, 2015) The first nights of 32 for the 2015 Smiley's Racing Products ASCS Red River Region presented by American Bank of Oklahoma kick off with the Region flowing into Flint Creek Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla. on Friday, March 13 and Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. on Saturday, March 14.

Joining the ASCS Sooner and Lone Star Regions together at end of the 2014 season, the first season under the Red River moniker is the 15th season of ASCS Regional competition in the Sooner State with each night offering drivers $2,000 to win.

Drivers from as far away as Memphis, Tenn. are expected the chase the full regional schedule, with the likes of Howard Moore and Brandon Hanks planning on joining drivers from Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas throughout the year.

Joined by the N.O.W. 600 Micros presented by MyRacePass.com, Friday's events at Flint Creek Speedway are set to get underway at 7:30 P.M. (CT). ASCS Southwest Will Try Again at Canyon

TULSA, Okla. (March 6, 2015) After Mother Nature made a mess of things for the ASCS Southwest Region on February 28, the Arizona based Region will give it another go on Saturday, March 14 at Peoria's Canyon Speedway Park.

The evening will also feature IMCA Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Renegades, and Dwarf Cars. The Saturday spectacular will be preceded by practice on Friday, March 13.

The last visit for the ASCS Southwest Region to Canyon Speedway Park was August 17, 2013 with Rick Ziehl topping the evening's action. Ziehl got the season rolling at Central Arizona Speedway on February 14, putting the No. 20z to the early points lead. Fellow New Mexico ace, Lorne Wofford holds runner up with Billy Chester third going into the season's second round of competition.
