WHO'S GOING TO LEAVE LONESTAR SPEEDWAY TONIGHT WITH THE BIGGEST MODIFIED PAYDAY IN THE STATE OF TEXAS IN 2013?!

In just a few short hours, the building drama and excitement of the past two nights of racing at the Armadillo Nationals at LoneStar Speedway near Kilgore Texas will all play out, and one Modified division driver will be crowned champion - and leave with a massive $10,000 payday. Over $33,500 in cash will be paid out in the DAY Motorsports Modified 50-lap A-feature race alone.

And that's far from all.

The Smiley's Racing Limited Modifieds will race from one of the biggest purses in their division, with a $3,000 prize going to their 30-lap feature winner. And $2,000 awaits the first Blaine's Motor Supple Factory Stock driver to reach the checkers in their 30-lap finale.

Twin B-features in all three race divisions will set each 24-car starting field.

There was an extremely scary wreck on the backstretch in the Limited Modifieds, with one car flipping down the track then being t-boned by another car (that ended up nearly on top of him) and the crash ejected his complete rear end, driveshaft, wheels/tires, fuel cell...yet both drivers jumped right out of their cars.

DON'T MISS TONIGHT'S EXCITING CONCLUSION! 200 laps of racing is currently scheduled for championship night in the 9-race program.

Any driver wishing to enter the event can do so by paying the race week registration fee for their division (no Factory Stock entry fee), pay for their transponder rental (all divisions must race with them, $25 rental fee) and purchase their pit passes. Those drivers will have no points, so they will tag their respective B-feature event. If they transfer to the A feature, they will race for the fully advertised purse.

Pits open at 4pm, Grandstands at 5pm, Racing at 7pm. We fully plan on having the racing program concluded around 10:45pm...the weatherman is giving us a 'green flag' until the chances of precip ramp up after midnight.

Tickets are just $17 for ages 12 and up, ages 6-11 are $5, kids 5 and under free with adult. Seniors and active military are $15. All pit passes are $35.

The current weather forecast shows a storm front scheduled to arrive in the area AFTER midnight - and we fully plan on having the program concluded around 10:30 - 10:45. Last night's 18-race program was completed prior to 11:30pm.
