General Rules & Procedural Rules  

General Track Rules
 1. Cut off time for drawing is 6:15 pm.
     Drivers meeting 6:30 pm.
 2. All drivers, car owners, or anyone else must sign a 
     release and purchase a pit pass
 3. Any driver or crew member who subjects any ridicule 
     or bad language toward track officials could be fined or
     barred.
 4. No drugs, or alcoholic beverages, or firearms are 
     allowed in the pit area or on track property
 5. The driver will be the sole spokesman on all matters
 6. Someone needs to stay with your car at all times
 7. It is MANDATORY for all drivers to attend the drivers
     meeting
 8. All drivers must help pack the track
 9. No work will be done on cars during cautions. If unsafe
     conditions exist car will stop on front straightaway for 
     track officials to check
10.Nerf bars are permitted in all classes
11.No radio's in any class
12.Driver can not enter the same car in two or more 
     classes
13.Any unnecessary roughness on the track you may be
     disqualified
14.Slower cars given the move over flag must move to the
     inside if they don't move over after two warnings they
     will be blacked flagged
15.Numbers must be neatly painted on both doors and
     the roof
16.No nitrous oxide in any class
17.If you are new to the track or have any questions about
     your car ask the tech man or track official before hot laps
18.If it is not covered in the rule book it will be looked
     upon by the track officials & the decision will be final
19.No traction control devices allowed
20.Late model stock protest fee is $250 top half ( 1 head)

***Procedures***
 1.It will be the drivers responsibility to be lined up prior to
    the start of the race. If the car is not on the track after
    one pace lap the car will go to the rear of the field
 2.The two cars on the front row will have two chances to
    start the race. The car or cars jump starting will be
    moved back to the next row & the next car or cars will
    move to the front row & so on unless non-starts are
    caused by other cars in the field
 3.Any car, which causes two cautions in a race  will be
    blacked flagged(2 spin out rule)
 4.Any car failing to follow rules of the track could be
    fined or barred
 5.Any car failing to cross the scales as instructed
    will not get paid
 6.All late models must weigh in after timing in
 7.All classes(except late models)will draw to determine
    starting position for heat race, how you finish the heat is
    where you start in the feature
 8.No rough-housing or disorderly conduct will be
       tolerated at any time. If so they will be asked to leave
       and may be barred for the rest of that night & will  
       forfeit all winning for the night
   9.All cars that are asked must go through the tech line and
      must cross the scales or they will forfeit all winnings
      for that night
10.Only the checkered flag can follow the white flag  
      except in the life threatening situations or if the racing
      groove is blocked
11.All starts and restarts will be out of turn four at the
     cone or line on the track surface
12.All cars must stay nose to tail until you pass the cone
     on the front straightaway. If you hit, go below, or
     pass before the cone you will be put to the rear of the
     field
13.There will be no courtesy laps given in any race. Any
      time you leave the track you will restart on the rear
14. If you leave the track surface and come back on. You
      will get your position back if their has not been a 
      green flag lap made.

DO NOT STOP ON THE TRACK DURING A CAUTION UNLESS A TRACK OFFICIAL  STOPS YOU...IF YOU STOP WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL STOPPING YOU. YOU WILL GO TO THE REAR OF FIELD.

 Safety Rules
  1.All cars keep it slow in the pits $50 fine for speeding
  2.Drivers must wear certified crash helmet
  3.Firesuits mandatory in all classes
  4.Neck braces & window nets are mandatory, window
     nets are optional in Late Model and Late model stock.
  5.All cars must have one working fire extinguisher with
     working gauge mounted in car & Must be within reach
     of the driver
  6.All weight must be securely mounted. No loose weight
     allowed in the cock pit. Do not mount weight on the
     bumper, all weight must be painted white with the car
     number painted on it
  7.No electric fuel pumps in any class
  8.All cars must have safety loop on the drive shaft
     and painted white
  9.Fuel cells must be securely mounted
10.At least four point safety harness is required in all cars
11.Batteries & fuel cells may be relocated for safety in
     all cars
12.No one allowed on the track during cautions or red
     flags except officials & emergency crews
13.The track has the right to inspect cars for safety
     purposes & the right to turn car away if it is found
     unsafe to compete in a race
14.If red flag & red light is displayed cars must stop
     immediately

Super Late Model Rules  

  • BODY: DIRT/Lucas rules apply.
  • ENGINE AND WEIGHT OPTIONS:
    a.
    Open Motor: 2300 lbs./ 8inch spoiler
    b. Open Motor w/steel block: 2250 lbs./ 8inch spoiler
    c. SAS LEGAL Spec Motor: 2250 lbs./ 12inch spoiler
    d. SUPR Spec Motor: 2250 lbs./ 12inch spoiler
    e. ALL steel motor: 2200 lbs./ 8inch spoiler
    f. 602/604/CT525 Crate Motor:  2200 lbs./ 12inch spoiler

     ATTACHED WEIGHT MUST BE SECURELY BOLTED TO FRAME WITH 1/2" OR LARGER BOLTS. WEIGHT MUST  BE               PAINTED WHITE WITH CAR NUMBER DISPLAYED. PENALTY FOR LOSING ATTACHED WEIGHT ON THE RACE TRACK IS DISQUALIFCATION FROM THE EVENT.
  • FUEL SYSTEM: One four-barrel carburetor.
    Gas or Alcohol
  • WHEELBASE: 104-inch minimum.
     Measured from center of hub to center of hub.
  • ENGINE SETBACK: Six (6) inches from center of ball joint to most forward spark plug, for all cars.
  • REAR END: Any type permitted.
  • ENGINE RULES:
    1.      GM PART NUMBER 88958602 , GM PART NUMBER 88958604, ENGINES MUST BE SEALED WITH GM SEAL BOLTS, GM/RM SEAL BOLTS OR CRATE RACIN USA SEALS.  OTHER SEALING SYSTEMS MAY BE USED, CONTACT FOR APPROVAL.  REBUILT ENGINES MUST MEET GM AND CRATE RACIN USA REBUILD SPECIFICATIONS.  GM SERIAL NUMBERS, MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE  FAILURE TO MEET THESE SPECIFICATIONS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION, FINES, AND POSSIBLE SUSPENSION, AT SERIES DISCRETION.

    2. ...... GM PART NUMBER 19171821 (CT525) IS ALLOWED, THIS IS A SEALED ENGINE FROM GM.  ALL SEALS MUST BE INTACT AT ALL TIMES.  NO ALTERING OR MODIFYING OF ENGINE IN ANY WAY.  

    3. ....... SPEC MOTORS:  WILL BE INSPECTED ACCORDING TO SUPR/SAS ENGINE RULES, AND DETERMINED BY THE CASTINGS ON THE HEADS.  IF YOU ARE RUNNING ONE YOU AND YOUR ENGINE BUILDER KNOW WHAT THE SPECIFICATIONS ARE MAKE SURE YOU MEET THEM.  IF YOU ARE NOT SURE CONTACT THE PROMOTERS RACING ORGANIZATION SUPER DIRT CAR  SERIES FOR SPECIFICATIONS.

    ENGINE PROTEST AND CLAIM RULE:
    1.    GM 602, 604, & SAS/SUPR SPEC ENGINES MAY BE PROTESTED FOR A FEE OF $900.  AN AMOUNT OF $200 WILL BE RETAINED BY THE SANCTIONING BODY AND THE REMAINING $700 WILL GO TO THE WINNER OF THE PROTEST.  THE PROTESTER MUST FINISH IN THE TOP FIVE OF THE MAIN EVENT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO FILE A PROTEST.
    2.    THE CT 525 ENGINE IN A WINNING CAR MAY BE CLAIMED BY ANOTHER COMPETITOR THAT FINISHES IN THE TOP FIVE OF THE MAIN EVENT FOR $10,000, COMPLETE LESS CARBURETOR.

    ENGINE SETBACK RULE:
    1.      ENGINE SETBACK WILL BE 6" FROM CENTER OF TOP BALL JOINT TO THE MOST FORWARD SPARK PLUG ON THE JIG-FRAME CAR WITH 1-INCH TOLERANCE ON ENGINE SETBACK  OR 25 ½” FROM MID PLATE TO CENTER OF BALL LEFT FRONT BALL JOINT.  THERE WILL BE A 50 POUND PENALTY FORWARD OF THE MOTOR PLATE FOR EACH 1/2-INCH OF SET BACK BEYOND THE LIMITS SET ABOVE.

    CARBURETOR RULES:

    1.      ONE FOUR-BARREL CARBURETOR ONLY OF ANY MANUFACTURE.
    2.      ENGINE MUST BE NATURALLY ASPIRATED. NO FUEL INJECTION SYSTEMS, OR TURBOS.
    3.  ANY SPACER ALLOWED.

    IGNITION SYSTEM
    :

    1. ANY ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM.  NO  MAGNETOS.
    2. GM 19171821 (CT525) MUST USE FACTORY COIL PACKS. ALL CARS MUST HAVE A WORKING STARTER, AND BE SELF STARTING.

     WATER PUMP RULES:
    1.      CAST OR ALLUMINUM PERMITTED.
    2.      NO ELECTRIC WATER PUMP.

    EXHAUST RULES:
    1.      COLLECTOR TYPE HEADERS REQUIRED. 
    2.      MUFFLERS MAY BE REUIRED DEPENDING ON NOISE ORDINANCES OF RACE TRACK COMPETING AT.

    FUEL - FUEL CELL - FUEL PUMP RULES:

    1. AN APPROVED FUEL CELL (35 GALLON MAXIMUM) MUST BE SECURELY MOUNTED IN THE TRUNK AREA OF THE CAR, INSIDE A .20 GAUGE METAL BOX SUPPORTED BY A MINIMUM OF TWO 2" BY 1/8" STEEL STRAPS.
    2. ALL FUEL CELLS MUST BE COMPLETELY VISIBLE FROM REAR OF CAR.
    3. ALL DRIVERS/TEAMS WILL HAVE FUEL CHOICE IN THE PROMOTERS RACING ORGANIZATION SUPER DIRT CAR  SERIES EVENTS.  RACING FUEL OR ALCOHOL CAN BE USED AT THE OPTION OF THE TEAM.  NITROUS OXIDE IS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY PROMOTERS RACING ORGANIZATION SUPER DIRT CAR  SERIES EVENT.  THERE WILL BE NO FUEL STOPS DURING ANY PROMOTERS RACING ORGANIZATION SUPER DIRT CAR  SERIES EVENT, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN COMPLETE THE EVENT OR MAKE A PIT STOP.  NO FUEL BURN OFF ALL WEIGHTS ARE AT TIMES BEFORE AND AFTER THE RACE.
    4. MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP ONLY,  BELT DRIVEN FUEL PUMP OK,  NO ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS.

    BODY RULES:
    1.     STANDARD DIRT LATE MODEL BODY RULES APPLY CRATE RACIN’ USA, WORLD OF OUTLAWS, SAS.  (See illustrations at the end of this Rulebook).
    2.      SPOILER SIZE MAXIMUM 8".  EXCEPT FOR 602, 604,  CT525.  CRATE AND SPEC ENGINES MAY RUN 12” SPOILER
    3.      SPOILERS MUST BE MADE OF A RIGID MATERIAL SUCH AS LEXAN, SHEET ALUMINUM, OR MATERIALS OF EQUAL STRENGTH.  SPOILER SUPPORTS SHOULD BE MADE OF EQUAL MATERIAL.
    4.      THE AEROTECH DOMINATOR NOSE PIECE IS ALLOWED.
    5.      NO MIRRORS.
    6.      NO RADIOS.
    7.      RACEceiver IS MANDATORY.

    TRANSMISSION RULES:
    1.      MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE FORWARD AND ONE REVERSE GEAR IN WORKING ORDER.
    2.      NO STRAIGHT DRIVES OR IN AND OUT BOXES.
    3.      DRIVE SHAFTS MUST BE PAINTED WHITE - CARBON FIBER DRIVE SHAFTS ARE LEGAL.
    4.      BALLSPLINE TRANSMISSIONS-STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO RUN CARBON FIBER DRIVE SHAFT ONLY! (This is for your safety)

    BRAKE RULES:

    1. ALL CARS MUST BE EQIPPED WITH A 4 WHEEL BRAKING SYSTEM.  RF SHUTOFF OK. NO CARBON FIBER BRAKE ROTER

     
    WHEEL RULES:
    1.      ANY BRAND OR TYPE OF WHEEL ALLOWED MUST BE MOUNTED WITH LUG NUTS.
    2.      NO KNOCK-OFF OR CENTER LOCK WHEELS.
    3.      MAXIMUM WHEEL WIDTH - 14".

    TIRE RULE:

    1. TIRES MUST CHECK A MINIMUM OF 40 OR HIGHER WHEN CHECKED WITH A TRACK DUROMTER.
    2. NO ALTERING OF TIRES IN ANY MANNER, TIRE NUMBERING AND IDENTIFICATION MUST REMAIN INTACT AND UN ALTERED, NO CHEMICAL TREATING OR ALTERING.
    3. DRIVER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, AND LOSE ALL POINTS, AWARDS, AND MONEY, WITH ANY TIRE RELATED INFRACTION.

Tires: All identification numbers must be visible on front and back of tires. No altering. NO TOLERANCE. Drivers caught with non-conforming tires will be immediately disqualified from that event’s racing activities. Driver will lose all points for that event and all monies and awards for that event. Driver will be fined $500 and will be suspended from competing for one (1) month. Track reserves right to impound any non-conforming or questionable tire(s).

SPOILERS: 8-inch rear spoilers on all cars. Spec Motor and Big 10 Motor exception (SAS template): 12-inches of material tall spoiler. Three spoiler support blades are allowed. Spec spoiler blade dimensions are 18 inches maximum in length, 12 inches maximum height, and must taper down to a maximum of 6 inches. No adjustable rear spoilers.

Late Model Stock Rules  

General Rules:
1. Body: DIRT  Late Model body rules apply
2. Wheel base: 103-inch minimum. Measured from center of hub to center of hub.
3. 14" maximum aluminum wheels. Beadlocks permitted
4. Two (2) hardness/tire rule option used. American Racer: SD 44/48 AND 56.
Hoosier: 1300/1350/D21/55/1600 Also LM20/LM40.
Must duromoter a minimum of 40 hardness on Front.( Minimum 60 Hardness on Rear).
All identification numbers must be visible on front and back of tires. No altering. NO TOLERANCE.

Drivers caught with non-conforming tires will be immediately disqualified from that event’s racing activities.
Driver will lose all points for that event and all monies and awards for that event.
Driver will be fined $500 and will be suspended from competing for one (1) month.
Track reserves right to impound any non-conforming or questionable tire(s).
5. Gas only. No alcohol.
6. Engine setback: Six (6) inches from center of ball joint to most forward spark plug, for all cars.
7. Any transmissions must have forward and reverse gears.
8. Any rear-end
9. No traction control devices allowed.
10. No Magneto
11. Any Carburetor
12. No vacuum pumps
13. Rules may be adjusted in interest of fairness of competition.
Engine Option A: Standard Late Model Stock Engine
1. Engines: Any small block Chevy up to 350 +.060 over bore.
Any small block Ford up to 351+.060 bore.Any Chrysler up to 360+ .060 over bore.

2. Any intake
3. After market water pump (steel or aluminum) permitted
4. Aftermarket fuel pump in stock location
5. Any cam that will pull 17" of vacuum at 1,000 rpm by the track gauge.
6. No after market heads allowed. Stock OEM heads or GM Vortec heads allowed. Steel and straight plug heads only.
No GM Angle Plug heads. No porting, polishing, grinding, or excessive deburring in any breathing area on heads.
No shot peening or acid porting of heads allowed.
Heads may be deburred on outside areas only. May have 3 angle valve job. Can be flat or angle milled.
Ford Angle Plug Heads are allowed.
7. Flat top pistons only.
8. Steel valves, rods and crank only.
9. Aftermarket oil pan permitted. No dry sumps allowed.
10. Maximum 8” spoiler (including blades) with Engine option A
11. Must weigh a minimum of 2350 lbs anytime.
12. Track Protest rules apply

CARBURETOR1. One 4-barrel carburetor only. Any Manufacturer.
2. Engine must be naturally aspirated.
3. May use one carburetor spacer, 1 inch maximum, and two standard one piece open hole paper gasket (maximum .070 inch thickness),
one gasket between intake to spacer and one gasket between spacer to carburetor.

WATER PUMP
1. Cast or aluminum permitted.
2. No electric water pump allowed.

EXHAUST
1. Collection type headers required.
2.  Tri-Y headers allowed.

2 Barrel
1.All body, suspension, and tire rules will be the same as LMS. 8"maximum spoiler (complete assembly including blades).
2. Carburetor. 4412 Holley carburetor with only the choke flap and linkage removed.
3. Carburetor may have jets, power valve, pump or pump cam changed only. Stock meteringblocks required.
Carburetor spacer or adapter will be a maximum of 1” between carburetor and intake.
Carburetor must pass GO, NO-GO gauge.
4. Engine. Must have steel heads and block. No dry sumps allowed.
5. Weight. 2400 lbs. anytime.
6. No mirrors or radios.
7. Any transmission.
8. Fuel: Gasoline only. No alcohol.
9. No electronic traction control devices.
10.Anything not covered must have official approval.
11. 2 barrels    DO NOT HAVE TO PULL Vaccuum

Modified Street Rules

BODY
  1.Any 1948 or newer sedan or coupe, minimum cutting for
      tires and air filter
  2.Stock wheel base
  3.Stock bumpers in stock location. Bumpers may be cut   
     slightly, but no sharp edges
  4.Must have wrecker loops on front and rear of car
  5.All doors must be welded or bolted shut
  6.All glass must be removed
  7.Racing seat with approved shoulder harness required
  8. 4 post roll cage welded to the frame with 3 or more bars in  
      the driver door. all bars must be 2" or larger
  9.Unibodies can be tied together
10.Car must be strictly stock appearing. minimum cutting  
      allowed for tires and air filter
11.Plastic ground effects are permitted
12.Pedals must be in stock location
13.Battery must be relocated and strapped securely in
      battery box in cockpit 
ENGINE
  1. 362 cu.inch, no 400 blocks; GM Crate 602 Engines
      are allowed
  2. Must pull 17" vacuum at 900 rpm by track gauge
  3. Any flat top or dish pistons allowed not to exceed deck  
      height
  4. Stock rods, crank, heads, rocker arms, carb, ignition, and  
      block from the manufacturer
  5. Vortec heads are allowed- casting #’s 906 & 062 only.
  6. No porting and polishing at all
  7. Stock flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch or torque converter
  8. Cam maximum lift "450 with .010"tolerance.cam will be  
      checked at the valve
  9. .005 feeler gauge will be used to check for solid lift cams
10. Any Dual Plane Intake.
11. Bigger valves and springs may be installed
12. No solid lift or roller cams or lifters
13. Stock fuel pump in stock location only
14. Screw in studs and guide plates are allowed
15. Carburetor:2 barrel holley #4412 or 1 quadrajet or rodchester
16. No aluminum heads or bowtie blocks allowed
17. Can have after market pulleys
18. Engine must be in stock location 
TIRES AND WHEELS
a. No racing tires (IMCA Tires Ok, Must Be IMCA Stamped)
b. 10" steel wheels permitted
c. No racing recaps
d. Beadlocks allowed- RR only
e. Can run 60 series tires no wider than 10"
SUSPENSION
a. Shocks and springs must stay in stock location
b. Racing springs and shocks permitted. No weight jacks allowed
c. Wheels may be reinforced to prevent loss. plating, washers, or double  nuts recommended
d. 9" ford rear end permitted No quick change or 3/4 ton rear ends allowed
e. Quick steers allowed
f. Stock steering box and power steering pump for that make of car 

WEIGHT
    3000 lbs Minimum
PROTEST
a. Any and all protests must be made within 10 minutes of the feature race
b. You must finish in the top 5 of the feature to make a protest
PROTEST FEES
a. Top half (1 head)$250-$50 to track
b. Whole engine(1 head and oil pan)$500-$50 to track

Mini Stock Rules  

Strictly stock ...any 2 or 4 door foreign or domestic vehicle
 with 90" to 105" maximum wheel base.....FRONT WHEEL DRIVES OK.. Must have safe roll cage.
TIRES: DOT tires only ...must punch 50 hardness (Hoosier medium ok)   

WHEELS: steel wheels only. 7" wheels will get a 50 lbs. weight break.. 8 inch wheels is ok.. 10 inch wheels ok but must add 25 lbs. To car.

BODY & FRAME: stock appearing. No sheet metal bodies. Plastic after market replacement nose and tail OK. Must have stock firewall and floor pan. Trunk may be hulled for fuel cell. stock frame.

ENGINE: 4 cylinders only. Stock heads & block. Stock intake
NO porting or polishing on intake or heads ..Stock crank & rods only. Stock stroke.....engine size max:2525cc.  Must pull 16 inch vacuum at 900 rpm. Degree pulley ok. After market rod bolts allowed.

FUEL SYSTEM: Any stock 2-barrel carburetor or 2- barrel holley carburetor..350 cfm max...MAY run 500 cfm 2- barrel with ADDITION of 25 lbs...GAS ONLY.. 1" ADAPTER OR SPACER OK.. Electric fuel pump may be used on blocks with no fuel hole. You must run a safety cutoff switch...

SUSPENSION: must be stock in stock location. No coil overs
 no wedge bolts... shocks must be in stock location...no adjustable suspension...

WEIGHT: MINIMUM weight 2000 lbs after race.1lb per cc, must claim total cc. Weight must be posted on the car above driver window or  hood.. so scale man can see it.  
Transmission & rear end: transmission must be stock. No aluminum  flywheels. Stock clutch & pressure plate. Rear end must be stock & it may be lock.
Rules & weight may be adjusted to provide fairness of competition.


Outlaw Street Rules
General
- Minimum weight 3000 lbs ( 10 or 12 steel wheels )
- Clip Frames are allowed and must weigh 3,200 lb
- 10",12", or 14" aluminum wheels must weight 3050 lb
- Aluminum bodies must add 50 lbs example: Aluminum Wheels and Body 3100 lb
 
Body
1. Any 1948 or newer sedan or coupe
2. Stock wheel base for that car
3. May be fabricated but need to be covered no sharp edges
4. Unibodies may be tied together
5. Body sheet metal must be kept in place at all times
6. Hoods will be pinned
7. No flate sheetmetal bodies allowed.car bodies must be stock appearing.if you run a sheetmetal body it must have factory body rolls built in the body.the body must be made of steel,or aluminum bodys must add 50 lbs
8. After market bodies must enclose back end (between decklid & rear bumper)
9. The rear of the car must measure no more than 42" from the ground to the top of the spoiler
 
Chassis
1. Racing springs and shock permitted
2. No coil overs or coil over simulators allowed
3. No 4 bars or swing arm chassis allowed.no j-bars
4. Large ball joints can be installed
5. 9" floater rearend allowed
6. No quick change rearends
7. Clip Frames on tube chassis are allowed and must weigh 3200 lbs.
8. Tubular top a-arm are allowed
9.no traction control devices allowed
 
Engines
1. 362 cubic inch no 400 blocks or after market blocks
2. Any 5.7 or 6.0 steel rod
3. Flat top or dish pistons no engine set back ( # 1 plug must be in front of the ball joint)
4. Any hydraulic or solid lift cam no roller or mushroom cams
5. Roller tip or full roller rocker arms permitted
6. No grind off numbers
7. Any 350 crank with stock stroke(3,48)counter weight must be stock appearing
8. Balancing is permitted
9. No magnetos msd permitted
10. Stud girdles allowed
11. No aluminum heads
 
Transmission
1. Must have workingclutch with one forward and one reverse
2. No direct drives
 
Carburetor
1. One 2bbl or one 4bbl not to exceed 750 cfm no predators
2. No alcohol (gas only)

Protest
1. Any and all protest must be made within 10 minutes after the feature race
2. You must finish in the top 5 in the feature race to make a official protest

Pure Street

MINIMUM WEIGHT 3400 LBS AFTER RACE
CAR

1. Any American made sedan with a stock firewall and floor pan and frame with 101 inch minimum wheelbase. 2. Sub frame cars may tie frames together under the car. Mount in stock location, any mount.
3. All cars must have a minimum 6 point roll cage. 3 bars in driver side door and 2 in passenger side.
4. Stock front and rear bumper. Must have a tow hook on the front and rear. Mounting is optional.
5. If the car claimed originally came with a spoiler, a stock spoiler will be allowed.
6. Crossbars are allowed under the floorpan. All other bars are optional.
7. Stock steel factory assembly line production body for the make of car in stock location.
8. Plastic nose is permitted. No wedge nose.
9. Fuel cell is required. Must be secured by 1 inch by 3/16 inch steel straps with 3/8 inch bolts or larger. Rear of fuel cell must be at least 12 inches away from rear of car.
10. Battery may be relocated but not in the driver compartment.
11. 8" steel wheels max. 275 - 70 - 15 tires max or at least 30% used imca tires
12. Minimal cutting for tire clearance, roll cage and fuel cell, no other cutting allowed.

SUSPENSION
1. All suspension must remain in stock location.
2. Racing springs allowed no racing shocks
3. Spring buckets and lowering blocks allowed. No weight jacks.
4. Stock rear end for make of car GM to GM, FORD to FORD, and CHRYSLER to CHRYSLER, may be locked.
5. Stock 4 wheel working brakes, no shut off valves and no after market components.
Brake pedal must remain stock and in stock location.
6. No quick steers allowed.
7. Factory disc rear brakes only.

TRANSMISSION
1. Manual or automatic with working torque converter.
2. Minimum 10 = clutch.
3. Flywheel must be steel and weigh minimum 20 lbs.

ENGINE
$850. engine buy includes everything but carb. waterpump, distributer and flywheel.
1. 360 cubic in. max (may have max .060 overbore). Must pull 19 inches vacuum at 900 RPM.
2. Engine must have factory assembly line production components throughout engine. Mounts in stock position, any mount.
3. No vortec heads.
4. Stock production 2 barrel carb. allowed 1" adapter to run cast iron intake only.
5. Stock exhaust manifold
6. Stock ignition.
7. Aluminum radiator okay.
8. Head must have 55 cc minimum volume.
9. Engine set back no further than No. 1 plug in line with ball joint.
10. Factory replacement pistons. No racing pistons.
