October 30th, 2008 - Mississippi kart racer Houston McCoy tested a Kyle Beattie Racing INEX legends car at Concord Motorsport Park on Saturday, Nov. 18, driving smooth and consistent laps under the direction of Beattie and Team Full Throttle Vice President Tom Baker. By the end of the afternoon session, McCoy had reached lap times considered to be around one second off a pole time on a night of legends car racing at the quarter-mile oval. MORE

September 13th, 2008 - On Saturday, Houston picked up two feature wins in the Mississippi Maxxis Series Race at Pontotoc Raceway in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Houston is the 2008 Mississippi Maxxis Dirt Track Series Champion, and his win tally now stands at seven on the season. MORE

September 2nd, 2008 - Houston competed in a pair of events over the past week. In the Eddie Burns Memorial at Booneville Kart Track in Booneville, Mississippi on Saturday, August 23rd, he picked up a 5th place finish. On August 30th, McCoy competed in the Mississippi Maxxis Series Race at Causeyville Raceway in Meridian, Mississippi, and he picked up the feature win. The team's next event will be the Mississippi Maxxis Dirt Track Series at Pontotoc, Mississippi on September 13th.

May 29th, 2008 - Team Full Throttle NASCAR Driver Development racer Houston McCoy has run a limited schedule to start his 2008 karting campaign, but when he does race he makes sure it counts. McCoy won both the Stock Light and Medium classes Saturday in the Boonville, Miss. Downtown Kart Race. Both races were eight laps in length on the half-mile six-turn street course. MORE

May 13th, 2008 - Team Full Throttle NASCAR Driver Development racer Houston McCoy found himself in an unfavorable predicament over the weekend as he attempted to race his Stock Class go-kart against the more powerful TaG class and Animal class motors on the Rebel Raceway road course in Saltillo, MS.  Proving that it’s not all about horsepower on a road course, however, the 15-year old won both of his features and left the competition with heads shaking in wonderment.  MORE
