Houston is a freshman at Mantachie High School just completing his seventh full season of racing. From 2001 to the present he has been pursuing his dream of racing while striving to maintain a high standard in the classroom. He is devoted to helping others and has recently become a supporter of Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center. He will be donating a portion of his winnings and working to raise money for this notable charity throughout this racing season.
Houston has recently signed a three year contract with Team Full Throttle, a NASCAR based driver development program in Charlotte, NC. He will continue to race dirt and asphalt karts all over the southeast this season and will also compete again in the Mississippi Maxxis Dirt Track Series as well as in National events. Houston will be moving into Legends cars full time later this year, and he has his eye set on moving into Late Models in anticipation of a future career in NASCAR under Team Full Throttle’s direction.
