The 2010 season will mark Jeremy's eighth year of racing, and he will be piloting his #7 Glasgow Trucking/Mastersbilt Super Late Model at regional and national events throughout the Southeast. October 30th, 2010 - After several weeks away from the track due to a busy family business, Jeremy returned to action over the weekend in the 7th Annual Southern Belle Cotton Pickin' 100 in what proved to be a frustrating weekend. Over 70 of the nation's best drivers entered the event and Jeremy would find himself mired in a loaded heat race. Not only would he battle a tough field of competitors, but he would also battled the setup, and as a result retired from his heat race. As a result, he started deep in a b-main event and failed to earn a transfer spot to the 100 lap finale.
September 25th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports entered the 21st Annual Magnolia State 100 at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend. Seventy-one Super Late Models entered the event, and Glasgow's weekend would come to an end before it ever got started as handling difficulties on his time trial lap, relegated him to the back of a heat race. He would be collected in an early heat race accident, which would bring his weekend to an early end.
September 18th, 2010 - The team made their first ever trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night for the 4th Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship, which was sanctioned by the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour. Forty-one Super Late Models entered the event, which saw the competitors competing on a fast and rough, 1/4 mile oval. Jeremy would battle the setup throughout the night and fell short of transferring to the main event via heat race and b-main action.
September 5th, 2010 - Jeremy entered a single event over the weekend as he made the trek to North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for the 6th Annual Bama Brawl. A stout field of 32 Super Late Models entered the event, and Jeremy would fall just short of locking into the feature event via time trials. As a result, he was forced to run a b-main event, where he finished fourth to earn the 18th starting spot for the feature event. In the feature, Glasgow would battle around mid-pack for much of the event before registering a 14th place finish.
August 28th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Saturday night. With 24 Super Late Models in action, Jeremy qualified 2nd fastest to start on the front row alongside of Chad Thrash for the feature. Glasgow would battle throughout the top five for the entire event, and would go on to record a solid fourth place finish behind event winner, Chad Thrash, Neil Baggett, and Brian Rickman.
August 21st, 2010 - Jeremy entered his first ever COMP Cams Topless 100 over the weekend at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas). With 75 of the top Super Late Models in the country on hand, Jeremy earned the seventh starting spot for his heat race. He would race around mid-pack for the entire heat race as he battled a loose condition to an 8th place finish. Via his heat finish, he started deep in the field in a b-main on Saturday night. He would pick up a few spots early in the b-main, but engine woes around the event's midpoint would bring his weekend to an early end.
August 14th, 2010 - After a week away from the track, the team returned to action over the weekend at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, MS) in a pair of PRO Dirt Car Series Super Late Model events. On Friday, Glasgow took part in the rain-delayed Four Crown Nationals finale from July 1st. He would start sixth in the $2,000 to win, 40 lap event, and would get as high as the fourth position early in the event before fading with an extremely loose race car. He would ultimately finish in the 12th position.
On Saturday night, Jeremy entered the Topless 50, which was highlighted by a 50 lap, $3,000 to win feature event. With 29 Super Late Models on hand, Glasgow would lock into the fifth starting spot via qualifications. He would battle throughout the top ten for the duration of the event before recording a 10th place finish in the final rundown.
August 1st, 2010 - It was a busy weekend for the team as Jeremy entered three events over the course of the weekend.
Festivities got underway on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), where Jeremy entered a Weekly Racing Series Event. With 14 Super Late Models on hand, Glasgow would register his best Super Late Model finish of his career at the 1/4 mile oval by coming home in the second position to event winner, Riley Hickman.
Saturday night found the team making the trek to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi for a $2,500 to win, 50 lap Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event. Twenty-six Super Late Models entered the event and Glasgow locked into the dash via time trials. In the dash he would finish seventh, which earned him the seventh starting spot for the main event. In the feature, the team would slightly miss the setup on his entry, and he would struggle to a 14th place finish.
On Sunday night Glasgow Motorsports wrapped up the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi with a Weekly Racing Series Event. After getting behind the eight ball in time trials, Jeremy started 12th on the grid for the feature. Despite starting toward the back of the main event, Jeremy would advance to a sixth place finish in the final rundown.
July 24th, 2010 - It was a heart-breaking night for Jeremy and Glasgow Motorsports as the team entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. After running in the top five for the first half of the event, Glasgow moved into the top spot, and looked to be on his way to a feature win before a valve cover came loose late in the race that sent him pitside, bringing his night to a very disappointing end.
July 10th, 2010 - Jeremy was back in action over the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the Lucas Oil Late Model Series sanctioned, Clash At The Mag. Fifty-five Super Late Models were on hand for the $20,000 to win/$1,000 to start event. Via time trials, Jeremy started sixth in his heat race, but on a hammerdown track, he would be unable to advance in the 10 lap event. As a result, he started midpack in a b-main and would race his way to an eighth place finish, but with only the top two cars transferring to the feature, his weekend came to an early end.
July 5th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports took part in the Four Crown Nationals over the holiday weekend, which saw four events in four nights in the state of Mississippi. It would turn out to be a frustrating weekend for the team.
On Thursday night, the festivities got underway at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi with a $2,000 to win event. Jeremy earned the 8th starting spot for the feature, but heavy rains would set in before the event could be running, forcing it to be postponed until August 13th.
Friday night found the team at Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, Mississippi for Round #2 of the Four Crown Nationals as 31 Super Late Models entered the event. Jeremy locked into the 16th starting spot for the feature and would go on to advance to a 9th place finish by the time that the checkered flag dropped.
On Saturday night Glasgow entered the $2,000 to win event at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. 38 Super Late Models entered the event, and Jeremy was battling for the lead in his qualifying heat, when he was pinched into the front stretch wall on the second lap. The contact with the wall would result in a bent front clip on his mount, which brought his night to an early end.
Sunday found the team entering the final round of the Four Crown Nationals as Jeremy unloaded his backup car. He would battle the setup through time trials and his b-main, and would ultimately fall short of qualifying for the feature event as his night came to an early end.
June 19th, 2010 - Jeremy continued his mid-season momentum on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi as he entered the Weekly Racing Series Event. Twenty-two Super Late Models were on hand, and he started the night by qualifying second quickest overall. As a result, he started on the front row alongside Ronny Lee Hollingsworth. Early in the event Ronny Lee Hollingsworth took over possession of the top spot and began to motor away from the field as Glasgow had a great battle with Rick Rickman and Chris Ragan for the second position before scoring a fourth place finish in the final rundown.
June 13th, 2010 - Jeremy was in back in action over the weekend with two Weekly Racing Series Events. Friday night found the team at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for a $1,500 to win event. Jeremy would battle throughout the top ten during the course of the event before picking up a 9th place finish.
On Saturday night, the action moved to "The Baddest Bullring in the South" Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a Weekly Racing Series Event. With 18 Super Late Models on hand, Jeremy qualified third fastest and pressured Rick Rickman for the lead for much of the feature before settling for a solid, second place finish.
June 6th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports took part in two events over the weekend. On Friday, they resumed action with the PRO Super Late Model tour at Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, Mississippi in a $2,000 to win/40 lap event. After winning his qualifier, Jeremy started 11th in the twenty-two car field. He would battle in the top ten for much of the feature before picking up a seventh place finish.
On Saturday, he entered the 7th Annual Coca-Cola Governor's Cup at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. With 41 Super Late Models on hand, Jeremy fell just short of locking into the feature via time trials. In his b-main qualifier he was battling for a transfer spot when overheating issues forced him pitside bringing his night to an early end.
May 29th, 2010 - Jeremy returned to action with the PRO Super Late Model Series on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. The $2,000 to win event drew a stout field of 35 Super Late Models. After qualifying 8th fastest in his group, Jeremy started 3rd in his b-main. He would charge to the front of the b-main to take the win, which earned him the 12th starting position for the 40 lap feature. He would go on to score a 10th place finish in the event.
Sunday night's scheduled event at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi fell victim to rain.
May 22nd, 2010 - Jeremy went to Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night to test some setups in a Weekly Racing Series Event. After starting in the 6th starting position, he would battle throughout the top ten during the course of the event before recording a 6th place finish.
May 15th, 2010 - On Saturday night, the team planned to enter the $2,500 to win, MSCCS event at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi, but late afternoon rains forced the cancellation of the event.
May 14th, 2010 - Jeremy made the trip to Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Friday night for a $2,000 to win, MSCCS Super Late Model event. With 19 entries on hand, Jeremy qualified 5th fastest in his group to earn the pole starting positoin for a b-main. He would go on to win the b-main, which locked him into the 10th starting spot for the main event. Early in the feature event, Jeremy was up to the 8th position when disaster struck as several cars spun in front of him, leaving him with nowhere to go. He would receive heavy front end damage, which brought his night to an early end.
May 8th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports entered their first ever event at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night as a $2,500 to win, O'Reilly SUPR Super Late Model event was on tap. Thirty Super Late Models entered the event. Jeremy would battle his way into the main event and would go on to record a 15th place finish.
May 7th, 2010 - After spending the week at Ronny Stuckey's shop in Louisiana, Jeremy made the last minute decision to enter the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model event at USA Speedway in Sterlington, Louisiana on Friday night. The team arrived at the track late to find thirty-four Super Late Models signed in for battle. After struggling in the heat race, Jeremy was able to advance from the 5th starting spot in his b-main event to a second place finish, which earned him the 17th starting spot for the 30 lap, $2,000 to win main event. By feature time the track was predominantly one groove on the bottom, and Jeremy decided to retire from the event to save his equipment. He was credited with a 17th place finish.
April 10th, 2010 - After a week away from the track, Jeremy returned to action on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee. A field of 30 Super Late Models were on hand for the $3,000 to win event, which was sanctioned by the Southern Regional Racing Series. Glasgow got behind the eight ball early in the night as he struggled in time trials. He would go on to battle his way into the show via his qualifier and started 21st in the main event. However, mechanical woes early in the event forced him pitside to a 24th place finish.
March 27th, 2010 - After experiencing more than his fair share of bad luck early in the season, Jeremy Glasgow finally got things back on track on Friday night in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Twenty-three Super Late Models entered the event and via time trials, Glasgow locked into the 9th starting spot for the main event. He would go on to race his way to a solid 5th place finish behind event winner, Klint Byars, Brian Rickman, Neil Baggett, and Randy Boyd.
March 20th, 2010 - Glasgow Motorsports returned to action on Saturday night as they made their first trip of the year to North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for a $2,500 to win event, which was co-sanctioned by the P.R.O. Dirt Car Super Late Model Series and the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Super Late Model Series. Twenty-six Super Late Models entered the event, and Jeremy got off to a strong start by timing in sixth fastest in group time trials to earn the third starting spot in a qualifying race. He would go on to advance to a second place finish in the qualifying race to earn the tenth starting position for the 40 lap feature. He would battle around midpack for much of the feature before a flat tire sent him pitside. He would ultimately record a 17th place finish. Even though the team would've like a little better finish they were excited to finally get the mechanical woes behind them and to get some laps under their belt.
March 13th, 2010 - Jeremy entered the Promoters Racing Organization (P.R.O.) Super Late Model event on Saturday at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Glasgow Motorsports has been plagued by bad luck over the past few weeks, and things would not be any better on Saturday as broke steering sent him into the turn two wall in hot laps. The damage on the car would bring his night to another disappointing, early end.
March 6th, 2010 - After a few weeks away from the track, Jeremy returned to action on Saturday at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi with a Weekly Racing Series Event at the 1/3 mile, clay oval. The event drew 18 Super Late Models, and Jeremy would struggle in qualifying with carburetor issues, which relegated him to the 13th fastest. In the 25 lap feature, Jeremy started 13th, but just a few laps into the event, carburetor issues would send him to the infield with a disappointing DNF.
February 21st, 2010 - Jeremy traveled to Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tennessee on Saturday for the 1st Annual Ice Breaker. Twenty-two Super Late Models entered the $3,000 to win, 40 lap event. Jeremy qualified 9th fastest in his group in group qualifications to lock into the 17th starting position for the main event. At the onset of the event, several cars stacked up in turns one and two, and Jeremy was able to barely miss the melee. The second attempt to get the event underway was a success, as Jeremy picked up a few spots in the early going on a track where passing was difficult due to daytime conditions. Over the remainder of the event, Jeremy would race his way to a 14th place finish.
February 7th, 2010 - Welcome to the launch of the Official Internet Home of Jeremy Glasgow from Caledonia, Mississippi here at www.JeremyGlasgow.com! The team is preparing for their third event of the 2010 season, which will take them to Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tennessee on Saturday, February 13th for the 1st Annual Ice Breaker, which offers a $3,000 top prize for the 40 lap event.
