History
Troy has been racing since he was 5 years old, and although he is only 15 years old, he has already accomplished quite a lot. He won his first track championship at the age of 6 in go karts. Dow competed in go-karts for several years, and along the way picked up a pair of track championships, and a prestigious Tunica Indoor Karting Nationals Title in 2004.

In 2007, Dow moved up to the ultra-competitive 305 Winged Sprint Car division. He competes primarily at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, but also competes at select events at other venues. Early in the 2007 season, Troy recorded multiple top ten finishes at Riverside International Speedway and also has a 3rd place finish at 64 Speedway in Augusta, Arkansas.

Troy raced in the 305 Wingless Sprint Car division in 2008 and 2009 before moving up to the 360 Winged Sprint Car division late in the 2009 season. Despite his limited seat time in the 360 Winged Sprint Car he racked up several accolades late in the season including qualifying for the main event in the Gumbo Nationals (Greenville Speedway) and the main event at the Trick or Treat Nationals (Riverside International Speedway). He also picked up a top five finish in the 305 Wingless Sprint Car portion of the Grass Root Nationals (Riverside International Speedway).
