Eric Cooley Picks Up First Win of 2008; Newly Designed Website

Fulton, MS (4/01/08) – Eric Cooley traveled to Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi to compete in the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series in his #33c Mastersbilt Crate Late Model, and when the dust settled on the weekend, he had picked up his first win of 2008.

Cooley made the last minute decision on Friday to head south to compete in the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series event that was held in conjunction with the WoO Super Late Model event.  It would prove to be a wise decision as he went on to win the heat race and the feature.

“There weren’t a lot of cars entered in the Crate division at Pike, but it was still nice to pick up the first win of 2008, and hopefully it will get the ball rolling for our team,” commented Cooley.
This weekend, Cooley Motorsports will travel to North Mississippi Speedway in Corinth, Mississippi on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series Event.  For more information on the event, please visit www.NorthMississippiSpeedway.com .
